In this post-apocalyptic-western, Alexander Dante has lived the past 10 years in exile for the killing of Edwin, his beloved brother. Then one day he’s astounded to receive a letter, purportedly from Edwin. The letter states Edwin now lives in the distant village shown on the enclosed map. At first, Alexander dismisses the letter as a hoax but there’s something about the letter that rings true. He treks through a hard and hostile land that at long last opens up into a tranquil village. There, he’s stunned to confront the impossible: his brother is very much alive. Alexander is overjoyed to see his brother but he is tormented as he knows he has killed him. Now Alexander must root out the truth — whatever the consequences.
Trapped aboard the family yacht, Samantha lives out her personal Hell, night after night, answering to the cruel and painful demands of the ship’s alarm system. Taking a journey into the depths of depravity, she wakes each morning to the disfiguring scars left by the previous night’s horror and searches for the answer to a missing memory: ‘Could I have killed my family… Or did Hell get it wrong?’
Five college students wake up in an abandoned, locked-down insane asylum – with no idea how they got there and no means of escape. They discover that they are the subjects of secret experiments, but these tests have awakened something that cannot be explained by science. The group must now fight to escape both the human and supernatural threats if they are to survive and break out of their prison.
The Hamilton’s seem to be an ordinary American family, living in a small town in Northern California and dealing with the problems of everyday life. They’ve also been recently adjusting to the untimely death of their parents, but since have moved on.
