In 1957 a fiery object crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth. Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature, the Ghota, bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis, an astronomer and with the help of Tammy, a diner waitress, sets out to save mankind.

Four men head into the remote woods on an annual camping trip. As one of them gradually loses his mind, the weekend of fun takes a turn for the worse and the other three must fight for their lives.

When an oil rig causes an eruption in a small town, it’s just the first in a series that could affect the dangerous Ring of Fire that contains most of the world’s volcanoes. If these cataclysmic eruptions cannot be stopped, the Earth could be headed for an extinction level event.
