Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil is an Emmy Nominated animated television series created by animator Sandro Corsaro, about a young boy named Clarence “Kick” Buttowski, who aspires to become the world’s greatest daredevil. It became the fourth Disney XD original series and the first animated series. The show premiered on February 13, 2010, with two episodes airing the first day. Also the series premiered on Disney Channel Asia on May 28, 2010 There are two 11-minute segments per show. The show uses Toon Boom Animation software. There are also some 3D-animated elements. The series is executive-produced and directed by Chris Savino. and Sandro Corsaro. Many of the characters and situations were based on the Corsaro’s childhood growing up in Stoneham, Massachusetts.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an Emmy Award-winning American 3D CGI animated television series created by George Lucas and produced by Lucasfilm Animation with the division Lucasfilm Animation Singapore, Lucasfilm and CGCG Inc. The series debuted on the US version of Cartoon Network on October 3, 2008. It is set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy, during the same time period as the previous 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars series. Each episode has a running time of 22 minutes, to fill a half-hour time slot. In 2007, Star Wars creator George Lucas stated “there will be at least 100 episodes produced [about five seasons]”. Dave Filoni is the supervising director of the series. Akagi is a mahjong centric Japanese manga, written by Nobuyuki Fukumoto and first published in 1992. The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American animated television series based on the superhero character published by Marvel Comics and developed for television by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. Metalocalypse is an American animated television series, created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha, which premiered on August 6, 2006 on Adult Swim. The television program centers around the larger than life death metal band Dethklok, and often portrays dark and macabre content, including such subjects as violence, death, and the drawbacks of fame, with extremely hyperbolic black humor; which accounts for the cartoon’s consistent TV-MA rating. The show can be seen as both a parody and celebration of heavy metal culture.

The music, written by guitarist/creator Brendon Small, is credited to the band, and is featured in most of the episodes. The animation is often carefully synced to the music, with the chord positions and fingering of the guitar parts shown in some detail.

One of the trademarks of the show is having the usual “bleeps” for extreme profanity replaced by pinch harmonics.

Doc McStuffins is an animated pre-school children’s television series produced by Brown Bag Films. It was created and executive produced by Humanitas Prize and Emmy Award-winner Chris Nee and premiered on March 23, 2012 on Disney Channel and Disney Junior. The series is about a six-year-old girl who can “fix” toys, with a little help from her stuffed animal friends.

The series received positive reviews due to the show’s concept and the main character, on its portrayal about African-Americans in a Disney series. Chris Nee describes the series as “Cheers for Preschoolers”.
