Ben 10 was an American animated series created by Man of Action, and produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The series is about a 10 year old boy named Ben Tennyson who gets a watch-like alien device called the “Omnitrix”. Attached to his wrist, this allows him to transform into various alien creatures.
The pilot episode aired on December 27, 2005, as part of a sneak peek of Cartoon Network’s Saturday morning lineup. The second episode was shown as a special on Cartoon Network’s Fridays on January 13, 2006, and the final regular episode aired on April 15, 2008.
The series gradually became popular among audiences, evolving into a franchise, being nominated for two Emmy Awards, winning one for “Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation”. It is written by Dave Willis, co-creator of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and Jim Fortier, previously of The Brak Show, both of whom worked on the Adult Swim series Space Ghost Coast to Coast. The animation is done by Awesome Incorporated, with background design by Ben Prisk.
The Cleveland Show is an American adult animated sitcom created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry, and Richard Appel for the Fox Broadcasting Company as a spin-off of Family Guy. The series centers on the Browns and Tubbs, two dysfunctional families consisting of parents Cleveland Brown and Donna Tubbs and their children Cleveland Brown, Jr., Roberta Tubbs, and Rallo Tubbs, and, like Family Guy, exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture.
