When Miss Robbie Montgomery, a 1960s backup singer and former “Ikette,” suffered a collapsed lung and had to stop singing, she decided to pour her talents into another creative venture—a soul food restaurant called Sweetie Pie’s. This docuseries follows the loud, loving and often singing Montgomery family as they work to expand their empire, one soulful dish at a time.

Anna Pihl is a Danish police drama produced by TV2. The series stars Charlotte Munck as the title character Anna Pihl, Peter Mygind, and Iben Hjejle as Mikala. Three seasons have been produced, each having 10 episodes.

The show follows the work and personal life of Anna Pihl, a policewoman at the Bellahøj police station in Copenhagen. She is divorced, and lives with her son, Mikkel, in a flat shared with Jan, her gay male friend. The show focuses on personal stories and realism: although it has action and suspense, it comes second to more realistic material.

Besides Denmark, the series has been broadcast in Iceland, Sweden, Norway and Finland. In Germany, the show was cancelled due to low ratings after the first nine episodes of season 1. A late night re-run started in September 2008. Season one aired in Estonia and in Australia on SBS One. In USA, Latin America and Portugal, Anna Pihl airs on Eurochannel.

The theme song for season 1 was “Crosshair” by Blue Foundation, while the theme song for seasons 2 and 3 was “In the End I Started” by Swedish singer Maria Marcus and Dane Niels Brinck.

F/X: The Series is a television series based on the film F/X, starring Cameron Daddo, Christina Cox, Kevin Dobson, Jacqueline Torres, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jason Blicker. It ran for 40 episodes from 1996 through 1998.

Much or all of the show was filmed in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The opening sequence ended with a television crew in the foreground loading trucks, and an enormous advertisement for The Phantom of the Opera, of which a theatrical production was showing in Toronto at the time.

Tales from the Darkside is an anthology horror TV series created by George A. Romero; it was released in 1984. This drama also depicts the ideological and political conflict between Prince Lee Bang Won and Jung Do Jeon who is the man instrumental in helping King Taejo to establish the fledgling Joseon nation. Jung Do Jeon wants a country ruled by ministers, while Lee Bang Won wants absolute power. Prince Lee Bang Won later become King TaeJong who was the third king in the Joseon Dynasty. He helped his father King Taejo to establish the Joseon Dynasty.

Packed to the Rafters is an Australian family-oriented television series which premiered on the Seven Network on Tuesday 26 August 2008 at 8:30 pm. The show has continued on Tuesdays in this timeslot for its entire run. The drama series features a mix of lighthearted comedy woven through the plot. It revolves around the Rafter family facing work pressures and life issues, whilst also tackling serious social issues. The Logie award winning series was the highest rating to screen on the Seven Network in 2008, and the show has consistently been among the top 5 shows of the year throughout its run in Australia.

It was announced in TV Week that the sixth season of Packed to the Rafters would be the last, with Hugh Sheridan stating: “It’s emotional letting go of Rafters – for all of us. It was such an amazing chapter in Aussie TV. I’m really proud we all came back together to send it off.” The two-hour series finale of Rafters aired on 2 July 2013, which saw the return of Hugh Sheridan, Jessica Marais, Ryan Corr, Jessica McNamee and James Stewart. Rebecca Gibney said, “The cast, writers and producers have always said that we wanted to keep Rafters as one of the most-watched shows on TV. If we ever felt like we were losing too many cast members, we needed to end it on a high. We can say season six winds up an aspect of the Rafter family and there is a sense of finality to it.”

The series has also been translated and dubbed into English by the anime television network, Animax, who has broadcast the series unedited and uncensored under the title Ghosts at School.
