Forever Knight is a Canadian television series about Nick Knight, an 800-year-old vampire working as a police detective in modern day Toronto. Wracked with guilt for centuries of killing others, he seeks redemption by working as a homicide detective on the night shift while struggling to find a way to become human again. The series premiered on May 5, 1992 and concluded with the third season finale on May 17, 1996.

Kahina Zadi, 32, a French police officer travels to Kiruna in Sweden to investigate the bestial murder of a French citizen. Andra Avenyn was a Swedish drama series and soap opera, produced by SVT and broadcast from 2007 to 2010. Three series were produced. The show was created by Peter Emanuel Falck and Christian Wikander, who also created the Swedish soap operas Varuhuset, Rederiet and Tre kronor. For the title music, they used the song Friday I’m in Love by the British rock band The Cure.

The series was shot in Gothenburg for SVT. Interior scenes were recorded in a recording studio, Santos House, on Lindholmen while outdoor scenes were recorded mainly in Kvillestaden/Brämaregården on Hisingen in Gothenburg. Andra Avenyn was nominated for the Kristallen TV Prize in 2008, in the category of “The best Swedish TV series”, but did not win. Two of the series actors, Fortesa Hoti and Jonas Bane, were nominated for the Aftonbladet TV Prize 2008, but neither won.

SVT decided to cancel Andra Avenyn after the final episode, which was broadcast on SVT1 on 5 May 2010.

The Untouchables is an American crime drama that ran from 1959 to 1963 on ABC. Based on the memoir of the same name by Eliot Ness and Oscar Fraley, it fictionalized Ness’ experiences as a Prohibition agent, fighting crime in Chicago in the 1930s with the help of a special team of agents handpicked for their courage and incorruptibility, nicknamed the Untouchables. The book was later made into a film in 1987 by Brian De Palma, with a script by David Mamet, and a second less successful TV series in 1993.

The Outer Limits is a US-Canadian television series that originally aired on Showtime, the Sci Fi Channel and in syndication between 1995 and 2002. The series is a revival of the original The Outer Limits series that aired in the 1960s.

Distinct from The Twilight Zone in that the stories were science fiction based only, and not fantasy/science fiction as was the case with The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits is an anthology of distinct story episodes, sometimes with a plot twist at the end. Unlike the original incarnation of the series, which was a pure anthology with each episode completely unrelated to the others, the revival series maintained an anthology format, but occasionally featured recurring story elements that were often tied together during season-finale clip shows. Over the course of the series, 154 episodes were aired. Currently, the Chiller network airs two episodes daily starting at 6 a.m. U.S. Eastern time and also airs multiple episode blocks on an infrequent basis.

Ringer is an American television series that initially aired on The CW from September 13, 2011 to April 17, 2012. The series stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, who plays twin sisters Bridget Kelly and Siobhan Martin. On May 13, 2011, it was reported that the project had been picked up to series by The CW. On October 12, 2011, The CW ordered a full first season of 22 episodes. On May 11, 2012, The CW announced the cancellation of Ringer.
